Our final day in New Mexico was as awesome as it was sad. Awesome because we had green chili cheeseburgers at 'The Outpost' then went to White Sands one more time to watch the sunset and play in the gypsum. Sad for it's never easy to leave. What a fantabulous time we had!! Memories that will last more than a lifetime! Blessed beyond measure to be there for such an extended holiday with family we love. In awe of the breathtaking beauty of God's handiwork!
'The Outpost' (as previously described in this blog somewhere! LOL!) is the only local bar that just happens to have the BEST green chili cheeseburger on the planet. And their fries are pretty darn amazing, too. It was a super treat to enjoy one more green chili cheeseburger before we headed back home. We had LOTS of amazing New Mexican food while there, all of it loaded with green chili's! Hot, just the way I like it!
After our burgers, we headed back south to White Sands. Along the way we made our second stop for pistachios, too, as we'd eaten most of what we had purchased the first trip to bring home! They are sooooo good!
God had the most spectacular sunset and fun in store for us at White Sands. I have no idea how to describe it other than share some pictures. Hopefully not too many as to bore you! It was amazing. Spectacular. Fantastic. Breathtaking. Awesome. Explosive. Colorful. Eye candy. Mmmmmm-mmmmmm!
As the rest of our grand Zozo-venture, yet another super day chuck full of special memories.
Oh yeah, life is sweet!
I want to see those pictures enlarged, Laura. These are so beautiful--I hope you will frame some.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Adrienne! Are you able to click on them and they enlarge on your computer screen? They do for me. It was such an amazing night! Wasn't God showing off His magnificent work?!?!
